Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this topic, but this seemed the most suited to my problem.

I have two problems, and i don't know the cause or how to fix them.. if im in the wrong topic can someone tell me :tazz:

My first problem:

Whenever i try to install uninstall certain programs, such as Norton Internet Security, i get something along the lines of:

'The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed, please try again or reboot..'

i cannot remember exactly how it went

The second problem is to do with my internet. Everytime i try to log onto or access certain website i get the message:

'The connection was refused when trying to contact..'

This is very annoying as i cannot access my email..

Please help me with these problems as it is limiting my use on the computer.

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this type of help.

i cannot access my email.. so gmail hotmail and some others.
why do i get this error message?

also, i cannot copy and paste anything, including files

i cannot get installer 3.0 because the program used to check the validity will not work on my computer, and i cannot 'open' it.
