Hi,
I use Windows XP Home Edition. I access emails with both Firefox and Explorer. My anti virus program is Kaspersky 2010.
I used to be a Geek but now i just go "eek" when I see a mouse.
It may be that my computer was attacked in mid Decemeber as part of the broader attack. I happen to be a human rights activist. I received a reply from someone in the US and to my surprise the header came back in both English and Chinese characters. Some of the Chinese Characters could be translated as Bright Morning. There was also notice of an attachment on the inbox line but when I opened the email there was no attachment evident.
Now I have trouble exiting my email programs. There is a notification telling me I have not signed out properly and that I need to click on at item on a help page in order to do this. However, I have looked at the page source of the notice and it uses a cookie dated back to 1980. And part of the address of the original page has the words TodayLight in it. This does seem similar to Bright Morning.
There are also some strange things going on with the placement highlighter when I put in my password. It often jumps backwards in position.
While i am inside the email program, it will not properly load the first time and I have to click on the address bar again for access to my email.
It may also be that the right hand shift bar has been given another function while I am inside my email program.
I appreciate your time and effort in helping me solve this problem.
