i've had my Acer AL1916W monitor for more than a year and suddenly yesterday night out of no where, the screen starting flickering constantly and won't stop.the flickering is so intolerable because there is horizontal lines going up really fast. my actual computer is working perfectly fine and i tried changing to 75 hrts but it just made the horizontal lines bigger. i've updated all my video and graphics drives and i've even scanned it for viruses.
i plugged the monitor to another computer and its still there. is there anyway i can fix this or is my only option is to buy a new monitor?? (which i really don't because this would be my 3rd one..)

any hope appreciated :)

Since it happens with another computer...you need a new monitor.
Did you try different cable?
