Hey. For the past couple of days, I've come to realize that my computer has stopped allowing any program other than web browsers to access the internet. I have never encountered this problem before, so I have absolutely no idea how to fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do not, my father has it currently. I ran an antivirus program today and removed two Trojans and several tracking cookies, but still no access for any programs other than mozilla. Standard internet explorer doesn't even have access

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post an OTListIt log in THAT forum.
