Photoshop Uninstall 5.0 to install 8.0

I have tried to uninstall 5.0 to install 8.0 but keep getting the following error message on both....Error 1327.Invalid Drive: F:\

I have gone to Adoble Photophoto manual removal process, still gets message, I have gone to Registry Edit and followed Adobe's prompts, still nothing. It looks to be I am missing the following folders:

registery
Software
Microsoft
Windows
CurrentVersion
but the folders: Explorer/Shell Folder or Explorer/User are missing
