Hi, I'm testing out my computer (with other users) to check for weak passwords. When I run pwdump2 (or pwdump4 etc..) I get "failed to open lsass: 5. exiting"

Does anyone know why??? (even as admin)

I also sometimes get unable to find PID or something like that.

I am running on XP Home.

Im pretty sure that this falls outside the bounds of the TOS here since it deals with cracking passwords.

This is definitely against the TOU. We cant verify whether you are doing this on your own machine or somebody else's so we cant offer any help

Also this topic is around four years old, please do not bump old topics
