And I can't get rid of it for the life of me. This started about three days ago. I had about 4GBs left then and I thought I could free up some space so I started uninstalling. I reboot my computer and see that my space only lessened since I did this. All the way down to 2 GBs At that point I'm really confused, so I ran Be Clean, then disk clean up on Vista. When I finished with that, I check my hard drive again and saw it went down to less than 1GB.

I'm freaking out now, because it's up and down but never going above 3GBs. I downloaded Norton Antivirus, did a full system scan and it's saying its fine now but it's still doing this. I downloaded CCleaner, while it did remove a lot of unnecessary junk that was on my computer, the disk drive space is still going down. I searched all over for a solution and tried as many as I could but nothing's working. I tried installing AVG but the thing wouldn't open up when it did install. Tell me, will this thing ever go away. I'm at a total lost. Especially since I don't know the name of the thing or where it would be. I did a Hijack This log, here:

and hopefully someone could please tell me what this could possibly be and what I can do to get rid of this? The last thing I need is my mother blaming me for something I clearly had no knowledge of doing.

We don't use HJT much any more. Too easy for malware to hide. We prefer you follow the instructions in the top post
http://www.geekstogo...uide-t2852.html
and post (Copy and paste) the logs you get.

That said there is something funny going on in your hjt log:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [?????????] ??????????????e

I would run HJT, Scan Only and check the above and then Fix Checked. I think I would also check this line too:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [BitTorrent DNA] "C:\Users\Sharon\Program Files\DNA\btdna.exe"

It's a possible user of a lot of disk space.

It might be wise to run a disk check since the question mark entry might be the result of a bad drive. Open My Computer, right click on the C: drive and select Properties then Tools, Error Checking, check both boxes then Start. It will say it can't do it now but do you want to do it at the next reboot. Say Yes or OK and then reboot. It will take about 30 minutes.

Ron
