I want to load Windows 7 on my wife's old Dell Inspiron 700m. In order to do that I need to upgrade memory from 512mb to 1gig. Laptop currently has 512mb DDR - 333MHz - CL2.5 PC2700U. It has only one slot and what would be the best 1gig replacement for it?
thanks

IF your laptop will hold more I would put more than 1 GB in it for Windows 7.
By the time you open a few things you will likely be over 1 GB of usage, which will then slow down your computer.
