Blue screen STOP: 0x0000007B, computer won't start

Here is what the blue screen shows: STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF7997524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I tried all the options under F8 menu. The windows bar is showing up like windows would be loading, then after couple seconds the blue screen shows up and computer restarts.
It is an HP laptop dv6000. I don't have a CD to boot it because windows was installed on one of the drives and that is how I booted it before.
Help greatly appreciated.
