hp pavilion a1430n Desktop PC
Motherboard manufacturer's name: Asus A8N-LA
AMD Athlon 64x2
1GB PC-3200 DDR1 RAM

i'm trying to fix this computer for a friend.
When you plug in the power cord to the power supply, the case fan goes max speed and the power button light comes on and thats it.
nothing on the monitor. no bios screen, no logo, no windows.

Code 50 seems to be USB problems. Most likely a broken USB Port or a defective USB drive/device is connected.

i found code 50 is "Display CPU type & speed" I cant find what code d0 is. i called hp and they told me to call asus and asus told me to call hp. CIRCLES!
what do this code 50 Display CPU type & speed means?
