Could be a failed sound card then.

I can see no reason for it not working since we have checked the hardware, drivers and speakers and everything seems to be in working order.
Unless the wrong drivers are loaded or the sound card is not enabled in bios or a faulty sound card.

One thing I just thought of that might work.
Go to Device Manager and then click on the tab named Device Drivers
Disable microsoft UAA bus driver ...
Uninstall UAA bus driver
Install realtek driver and it should work.
Download Realtek AC97 driver

I found some programs(like file cure and Uniblue registry booster) that find all the errors and fixes them, but none are free.Do you know of any that do it for free?

A registry cleaner will not increase your system's speed or performance, and has the potential to break your registry to the point that your PC is no longer bootable.
We strongly advise that people stay away from any of the registry cleaners out there.
Go HERE to get more information about why registry cleaners aren't needed.
Thanks to Sari for the explanation

The only other option is to uninstall the drivers and let windows try to reload them again and maybe it will load the correct ones.

It looks like you are missing the Motherboard chipset driver. Did you get a cd with the motherboard or with the system marked drivers?
