I was just trying to save streaming radio channels to a media player ,so far havn't been able to work it out for win media player (12) or VLC 1.05.
tutorials seem to be for earlier versions and more recording oriented.

Streamed content usually can't be saved unless the website has a 'save' or 'download' link for that item. Otherwise you need to use some other method of 'capturing' it.
