Redirecting stopped but computer very slow

I had a problem with a Yahoo redirect virus. After running Malwarebytes a few times it stopped. The computer has slowed down when going from one web page to the next. Can't get to Microsoft Update page or update the Kaspersky anti-virus. Could I still have something lurking?
