A little while ago, I noticed that my Google Chrome browser would not be able to access anything. It had a "Error 10 (net::ERR_ACCESS_DENIED): Unknown error." Doing a little searching online, I learned that there was a connection with the error and Norton. Trying to access it, I realized that Norton wasn't even running and when I would try to manually start it, it was unable. Going to the Norton website, it said I had to reinstall it. However, after uninstallation (which I had to do manually since the uninstall utility was not working), I am unable to install it. What do I do?

PS: I tried installing spybot but there was an error attempting to download it. Adaware was able to be installed, but an error occured during system scan...

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
