Problems installing ERUNT

G'Day, I am not sure if i have a problem with malware or if it just a windows XP problem. I downloaded the program ERUNT and when i ran the install when it came to creating a folder to store the backup file, I got a message that a folder could not be created,then there was a series of files that could not be read because they were blocked,so I am concerned that there is something there that is not right.
Could you please advise me.thank you
