ibm xseries 235 eserver....all of a sudden stopped booting...it was set up through a kvm swtich, the kvm detects a signal and lights up the apprpriate port, yet nothing is displayed on the monitor. disconnected from kvm, connected directly to a monitor, and still no signal....only error light is indicating a HDD problem, that has never failed to put something on the display before, im kinda stuck on how to troubleshoot....i know the drives are good, i guess it could be a LSI adapter problem, but again, that wouldn't explain the video. by swapping in a pci video card, will that server automatically etect and display video on that adapter? i cant get into the bios to change primary display from onboard to expansion card. I think i might be overthinking the problem, and probably overlooked something silly...

thanks
