How do all,

Right a funny smell is coming from my pc, smells almost medicinal! I've cracked her open and found the smell is coming from the processor, now then the fan on top has a spindle missing and I found it to be underneath sitting on the cooling fountain. I have removed the said piece, but I'm still getting the smell.

Just a little worried whether or not my proceesor is about to burn out first of all, and secondly has anybod come across thisstrange medicinal type smell?

At first I thought the missus had been at the muscle rub again!

Cheers

And if I couldn't due to a slight financial problem (I get paid in a week!) what would happen?

Possible cpu meltdown.

Don't run your PC for a week. Read a book. Go outside. Visit family and friends

Unless you happen to have another computer with an identical fan, then you could swap. Like an old one you don't use.

And get off it right now!
