OK so now the next step is you would need ot purchase a new SATA hard drive and then a fresh install of your oS and you should be able to be up and running then short of installing any programs you want or need.
The question now is what size hard drive you would like.
Whats your budget for a new hard drive ?
Do you have a original XP installation disk?
