Hi There,
Recently I had some problems with IE8. In the end I installed NIS10 and this seems to have cured the problem. But I seem to have lost all my old email. Is there a way that I can get back my old email?
Thanks

Um, installing Norton shouldn't fix issues with Internet Explorer 8.
And what program are you using for email?

Changing, updating, or removing software on your computer should not affect your email account which is held on the internet... By knowing what email service provider you were using, (example@hotmail.com) you should just be able to login to it, by going to their login page on your browser.

Do you know what email provider you were using? Do not post your full email here, but just the service provider. If you do I can direct you to the login page. Some examples:

Hotmail (MSN)
Gmail
Yahoo! Mail

I use @aol.com and @live.co.uk. Live is the one that has the missing email.
Thanks

Could you post a screenshot of the screen you are at?

To Post a Screenshot:
  • At the screen you wish to screenshot, press the Print Screen key which should be located at the top of your keyboard, somewhere inbetween the F12 key and the Scroll Lock key.
  • Open up Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint
  • In the white area, press CTRL + V to paste, or go to Edit > Paste.
  • At the top, go to File > Save As
  • Save as type "JPEG", to a memorable location on your hard drive.
  • Upload and Attach your picture to your next post.

Hi Tony,

Yep, you were right. In a panic I'd created a couple of accounts, hastly scribbled down on an old scrap of paper, and got confussed with my login details.

Thanks problem solved.
