No sound from internet

Today I was searching the web and went to youtube to look up a song that I had stuck in my head. For some reason no sound was coming from website. I check to make sure my volume was on (which it was) and than opened a game to make sure I could get sound from that, and I did. I at first thought it might be a problem with firefox and switched to see in IE would work. It didn't. I restarted my computer and tried again, with the same results.

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
