Hello Alex Posted Image

You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure.

You have a CoolWebSearch infection.
Download CWShredder here to its own folder.
Update CWShredder

* Open CWShredder and click I AGREE
* Click Check For Update
* Close CWShredder
Boot into Safe Mode:
Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Now run CWShredder. Click I Agree, then Fix and then Next, let it fix everything it asks about. Reboot your computer into normal windows.
Please download Spybot Search & Destroy and AdAware.

Follow all the instructions on this website to run a scan with both of these softwares.

I have also noticed you have been infected with the ZINS.A Trojan. Update your Symantec definitions here and also update your ewido security sweet.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

Please reboot into safe mode (continually tap the F8 key while your system is starting, select Safe Mode from the menu).

Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):
C:\WINDOWS\System32\logon.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\addfy32.exe

Reboot your PC

Please be sure that you have made your hidden files hidden again. This is where you learned how to show hidden files. Complete the first few steps up to where it tells you to uncheck hidden files. To make sure they are hidden once again, make sure this box is now checked.
It has also been noticed that you use LimeWire. This is a peer2peer file sharing program which has been known to contain spyware and malware. Should you want to remove this, start by uninstalling it in the add/remove programs in the control panel.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and let us know how your system's working. :tazz:
