Running Raid 5 on my PC with vista ultimate installed. Everything runs well except the weirdest thing. Anytime i use windows media player for a significant amount of time, the intel raid manager pops up and says storage device disconnected..then it says storage device connected and it rebuilds the raid array all over again. I even check the bios and it says its in a rebuild state. I just have no clue as to what could be causing this. Its nice to have raid, but if its going to rebuild over and over again what is the point. Any ideas as to what this might be?
