Malware removal

Hi,

I had a Dll error on startup so followed the malware removal process on this website as directed from my first post. I got as far as running the GMER scan but the laptop froze for ages. I then turned the computer off manually, but since then the computer will not turn on, not even in safe mode. I can press F5 on startup and get to the screen where you can choose to start using the last known config, but that doesn't work either. It just goes straight to a black screen and stays like that.

What else can I do? I'm not too advanced on this kind of thing!!

Any help would be appreciated
