Hi,

I am using a Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 headset. Just today when I went on skype to talk to people, they couldn't hear my voice at all and all they heard was static. This has just started happening today and I want to know if anything is wrong? I am using Windows Vista Home Premium. If you need any further information please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

RCA jacks in computers have always had dodgy connections. I usually just turn the plugin jack to see if the connection gets better. Once i did have a wireless router cause static on headphones. Moving the router underneath and behind the computer desk helped cure the problem but not entirely.
