Hi! newbie here, i ve been trying to figure this out by myself but i have given up and i'm hoping you guyz can help me solve this problem

My CPU usage is always stuck around 100% even when idling... and I can't pinpoint what is causing it. The only recent changes i have done is install an vid card, but this shouldnt be causing the problem...right? I have tried some of the advice that you guyz have given other folks experiencing the same problem as me, but im still having the same problem. Below is a log of HJT:

uninstall all mcafee, as well as any other program not crucial for your system to run...then download ad-aware (downloads.com) and spybot...run and follow the directions...should do it for you

Thanks Nestorey for the help...i did as you advised and it kinda solved the problem. I m no longer idle at 100%, however when i run programs that take up a lot of memory like WoW i can still notice my comp running slow and im still hitting 60% to 90% on my CPU Usage. Is there something else that might be affecting my comp?

Also if i install mcafee back onto my comp will it just hog up all my cpu usage again? Thanks again!

I suspect you still have some malware to clean up. Follow the malware removal guide at the top of this forum where it says "Do you suspect a malware (Spyware, Virus, Trojan) infection? Please start here. " This enables folks to solve most problems on their own. If you still have a problem after that, post a hijack this log in the malware forum at
