I am running XP using my cell phone as a medem for dial-up internet. While using internet yesterday I got an error message saying that "Local Area Connection- A network cable is unplugged."I have tried using the Microsoft support suggestion on going to network connections and changing the bandwidth. No dice. I am assuming that it is because I am using dial-up. Yesterday, the address bar kept flashing and then there was a steady beep-beep-beep from the cpu. Please help if you can. Thanks Gram
