Pawanhammers-

Unfortunately, you cannot change the color of the Windows Taskbar without Windows Aero. What is preventing you from running Aero?

Pawanhammers-

Sorry, it seems like you are out of luck.

You could try using a third party program, but I can't recommend or endorse any such application.

Pawanhammers-

Yes, to reiterate, there is no way in Windows to change your taskbar color without Aero.

I don't have any experience with any third party taskbar programs, so I can't give you any recommendations. If you're feeling adventurous I suggest Googling for an application that will suit your needs.

Hope that helps! :) Let me know if you need help with anything else.

Hmm, yes. As you know i've installed Windows 7 recently, and just after it ends loading theres a 1 minutes delay and the screen goes blank before it goes on the user select part.
