I got this error when I tried to compile:

Error 58 fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'php5nts_debug.lib' php5 php5

So as usual I did a search on Google. What the... no hits about this file. I did a search on Yahoo and got about 9 hits. None of them in an article or help. They where all in the older Visual Studio .dsp file. It is like they put it there just to make it harder to compile PHP5 on windows.

There is just no information of what the file does and why it is in linker input additional dependencies. My approach is just to remove it and go from there.

Has anyone any information about the file and why it is there.
I would be really happy to know about it.

Grateful for your comment.
