Hi there. I installed Windows 7. However I am unable to accsess the internet. My wireless is Linksys Wireless-G WUSB54GP Ver 4. Now the driver CD installed on my old XP and worked. But it is not designed for Windows 7. Now I have looked the internet i've download an update driver. Which I think DOES support Win 7.
I installed it. I could not open the program.

Thanks.

The newest driver for this device from the Linksys website is dated January 2005, here:
http://www.linksysby...upport/WUSB54GP

This driver is for Windows XP and earlier Windows versions. It is not compatible with Windows Vista, and certainly not compatible with Windows 7. My guess is that Linksys have decided to no longer issue new drivers for this discontinued USB wireless adapter. I have a 4-year old Epson scanner which has suffered the same fate.

Your only options are to buy a new wireless adapter or stick with Windows XP.
