Hello

I was wondering if you can help me with an email problem I have.

Both my friend and myself are signed with Tiscali. She was sent an email with picture attachments. As you scroll down on her computer it shows all the pictures one under the other, which is brilliant. But, when she forwards the email to me, the list of attachments are there, but the pictures don't show up. All I get is a small box with a little red cross in the corner so I have to open up the pictures individually.

If you have any suggestions as to why this happens and how it can be rectified they would be very gratefully recieved.

Many thanks

Welcome to Geeks to Go!, The Muggle.

A couple of security settings in Windows Mail have to be disabled.

Open Windows Mail & from the menu bar choose 'Tools' then 'Options'.
Click the 'Security' tab.
Under 'Virus Protection' (at the top), UNTICK these two options:

1. "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"

2. "Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail"

Now click "OK" to save the new settings.

It's important that you use an antivirus application which includes an email scanner.
If your current antivirus doesn't check emails, change it for one that does.
