I go to the self helps and can't do a hjt quick start. I tried to click the download button and it's saying page can not be displayed. My home computer is now in good shape... thanks to you guys!!! The one I'm trying to fix now is my girlfriend's mother's home computer.

To bring all who can help up to speed...

Her Norton recently expired and now her computer runs EXTREMELY slow and from start up there are about 15 programs that I've never heard of running. (I see them when I hit Ctrl Alt Del) Please help if you can... brownie points are at stake here...

Thanks!

You still have some suspicious files. Before we start cleaning up your log please run a free online virus scan here:
http://housecall.antivirus.com/

And a free trojan scan here:

Nothing came back from either download/scan. Still running very slow and still a long list of programs running at start: Pdesk, Rnaapp, loadqm, etc.

Here is a new HJT log after running both of those downloads you suggested and installing AVG free antivirus.

By computer "running slow" for instance... I can type a sentence and then hold delete and it takes about twice as long for it to delete as it took me to type. Don't know what to do... but thanks for the help!

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = 129.250.35.250:8080
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Winkmua] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\Winkmua.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Winkeq] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\Winkeq.exe
O4 - Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA9.EXE

Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu).
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\Winkmua.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\Winkeq.exe

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log, and let us know how your system's working. <_<
