I am unable to boot windows xp Pro sp3. It gives me a BSoD, stop error. Where the hex error message should be is just blank. A few lines down there is the wording "Must load DLL's".

I found a way to fix this recently, but since the error has cropped up on another pc, I am unable to find the solution again. I remember the solution had me go into Recovery Console, run about 5 or 6 commands, reboot, log in, and adjust the boot.ini file.

Any Ideas on what those commands are an what the proper order is?

That is just it. It does not say. There are no hexadecimal error #'s, no wording explaining the error.

I have been able to resolve this issue.

booted into xp recover console.
ran several commands, chkdsk with both switches available in recovery console.
ran fixboot /rebuild
ran fixmbr
rebooted
adjusted boot.ini to not display the "bad" version of xp.
