how can i intall my win98SE when in the processing of setup win98 im receiving that says "FILE COPYING PROBLEM" ypu interrupted SEtup while it was copying windows files froam a setup{.cab}file. and whan i click the details, it says SETUP interrupted "SOURCE FILE E:\WIN98\BROWSELC.DLL".DESTINATION file c:\windows system\browselc.dll.

>then i press ok to continue the setup but still it shows again...... can you please help me.. what should i do? if i skip the file and continue the setup. my windows doesnt start. and see a message explorer. i think its an error... please help me................ :tazz:

Check your cd.. it may be dirty or scratched..

As a sidenote, this is not a disk someone copied for you is it??

i had the same thing but with CAB file.
when it start copying files, the error message appear. and the process still in 15%.
My source is from Drive D: and i had scandisk on it and found no problem. would mr murray help me?
