Hi,

Thanks for building this great resource.

My system has been infected with Spigot Inc.'s Search Settings v1.2.3
I read through the Malware Removal Guide on the geekstogo site and have 2 questions before I can proceed with the instructions :

1. I am running Windows 7 that incorporates features like Temp File clean up, System Backup and Restore etc. So, should I use the Win7 tools instead of the TFC, ERUNT and GMER recommended on this site?

2. Most of the tools recommended here do not seem to be compatible with Win7, so are there alternative applications I need to use?
