Hi there,

I've just had a quick read of a thread of someone with a similar problem as me, but it seems to have been identified as a virus that may be different to mine. I got back from holiday after a month the other day, opened the PC up and a few hours later my windows security centre (where it tells you if your firewall is open or not etc) opened some kind of virus scanner which I didn't have which started finding a load of viruses. I couldn't control anything on the PC so I panicked and tried to open task manager to end any programs running, but it said the function had been disabled by my administrator (I am the admin and only account on the PC).

I restarted the PC only for the same thing to happen immediately, restarted again and it wouldn't boot properly. I get as far as a black screen with a flashing underscore at the top left and then onto a black screen. I tried safe mode and it crashed while loading the drivers and now I don't seem to be able to get the option to load in safe mode.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
