My laptop just freezes when loading up Windows (I have Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron). I log on but then just a blank screen comes up, although I can still move the mouse. I can load up Windows in safe mode and access all my files but I can’t get on the internet. Before this started happening I think my browser had been hijacked because in both Firefox and Internet Explorer I was being taken to websites that I didn’t type in. I ran a scan on AVG and Spybot at the time but they didn’t pick anything up. Can anyone help?
Many thanks.
