ok, i installed sp2 on my laptop (just reformatted) and i had as-aware running. i had its ad-watch running, and because thast stupid derbiz adware was running i set it to disallow registry editing. so it dissallowed 47 keys entered by SP2 installation.

I cant roll back as sys restore wont work! how do i get around it? does sp2 have an un-sp feature?

Also may i reccomend microsofts anti spyware thing? its about the best ive seen from them (i use suse more then windows because microsoft / windows really annoy me :tazz:)

thanks for any help!

if you started with sp1 and installed the update, sp2 can be uninstalled IF you agreed to save back up files by going to control panel > add remove software
