I have a hp laptop with a 64-bit dual core board. I will be upgrading with windows 7 and would like to know would it be better to use the anti-virus for the 64-bit or windows 7

There are different Antivirus and Anti spywares which can be used on Windows 7 like:
AVG antivirus, Avira antivirus, Norton antivirus, Avast antivirus and Kaspersky antivirus.

Most AV products will work on both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 7.

NOD32 is a little lighter on resources, but has slightly better detection rates than does Avast. The trial version will expire after 30 days.

That AVG antivirus is the good one. Friendly user interface, easy to use and auto update. I'm using the free version, There is no problem about virus on my computer and vaio lapop now. feel ok of using it.
