Windows 7 has internet problems

Recently i bought a Dell Inspiron Laptop with Windows 7 pre-installed in it. I always have problem connecting to the internet. Always theres connection error problem. I complained Dell quite a lot of times but they are not responding. Any Suggestion ?

Which model Dell Inspiron laptop?

What is the make and model# of your router?

Wired or wireless connection?

If wireless, how far away are you from the router?
