Hey all,

I bought windows 7 for my old computer, and now it's time to buy a new computer and I'm wanting to take my copy of win 7 with me and sell my old computer without an os. How would I do that?

Thanks for any help.

It sounds like you want to completely wipe all the data off your hard drive. You're going to need a program that can boot from outside of your hard drive and wipe the drive completely. I recommend using Derik's Boot and Nuke- you can download it from my signature.

Hope that helps! Let me know if there's anything else I can do to assist you. :)
