Hi,

I have recently been advised not to skimp on a power supply as its the heart of the system I don't want to spend a wacking great amount but have thought twice about buying a cheap one now. For the system i am building i will need a good 500w psu.

Can anyone reccomend one?

I have an aspire 520wt psu that works great, looks cool, has 3 fans, leds, and speed controls, all from the best trusted site ever:newegg.

Try looking at www.tigerdirect.com and www.newegg.com for power supplies, can you list the specs of your computer so we can tell you what you wanna be above in term of watts and such...i would recommend maybe a 420-480 unless you want higher but i find that a bit unnessesary
