trouble downloading

Each time I try to install Moozilla Firefox, it does the complete download but then won't launch. I also just tried to un-install the program to re-download and it won't un-install either!

Any error messages you have seen in connection with this would be useful to know about, otherwise we have nothing much to work with in troubleshooting the problem.

In particular, error messages which appear when Firefox won't open or won't install, whichever applies.
