I don't know if it is my laptop that's the problem or something else, but my computer is constantly freezing up on me. What can I do?

Its been happening for about a year now but I never turned it in because I dont have a warenty on it my laptop. It freezes when Im doing anything. It actually froze when I was doing this just now and I had to force shut down my computer and turn it back on again. It also freezes when I leave it on for a long time. Here my system info:
