Can you help me where i can find the free download Ethernet Controller driver my OS is (XP)?

Ethernet driver is not so OS dependent as it is for the motherboard or system.
Is this a name brand system and if so what make and model?
If custom built then I need to know the make and model of the motherboard.
I can then assist you in finding the correct driver.
