I have used the free utility called Iconoid (by Sillysot.com) to save the positions of the desktop icons with Windows XP and it worked great. I tried the web site for latest version but it would not work on W7.
I use ATI Eyfinity with three screens and I change the resolution often from stretched to one screen, but the icons get all scrambled. Is there another utility like Iconoid that works with W7 64?

Thanks

Hmm, Looks like it was originally made for Vista and a long long list of user comments, but some say it did not work for them in W7 64. Looks like there might be some registry editing to make it work?

I might have to look into it more before I try it.

Thanks

Just create fresh restore point and give it a shot.
I use it on Vista and usually, whatever works with Vista, works with 7, however I'm not sure about 64-bit.
