Sorry about the delay getting back, while the cpu is quite hot
its not over the top at the moment but once the system starts to
operate under load it will increase significantly, the maximum
recommended temperature for the Athlon 64 X2 4800+ is between 55
& 68 degrees,I would recommend removing the heatsink & fan,clean
off the thermal compound & re-apply a fresh amount of something
like arctic silver 5, the other option is to use a thermal pad kit.
If you require assisstance with this let us know, I would recommend
running the system for a few minutes first, this will soften the
existing thermal compound if it has gone hard & make it easier to
remove the heatsink, please take anti static precautions before you
touch anything inside the case, you can do this by simply touching
a metal part of the case, remove the power lead & press the on/off
switch a couple of times in case there is any electricity left in
the system.
Do you know if your system has any additional case fans as the screen
shot is only showing the cpu fan!
Dust is also a major cause of heat problems so a good clean out inside
may be necessary.
Also download & run this & then post a screenshot;
