Recovery disc Toshiba Satellite

I have a toshiba satellite L25-S1216 and it came with a disc that read "Toshiba Recovery and Applications/Drivers DVD Satellite L20/L25 Series". Iwould like to know if this will install my operating system as well as my drivers and other software. I need to reinstall my operating system because I had to buy a new harddrive and I cannot seem to use the function of pressing the zero key while booting the computer. I run Windows XP Home Edition.

Please help!
