Using XP ... when I click My Computer icon and then Local C: drive I get a long listing of files.
If I click View I see (among other things) the date each file was last modified. How do I sort this listing, say by date last modified or by Name? Thanks.

Simply click a column header, (such as Name, Size, Type, Date Modified, etc.).

When you click it once, it will sort in Ascending order. Click it again to reverse it to Descending order.
