Device manager lists Unibrain Driver under "Other devices". In updating the driver, it was installed by the system in a different place (1394). Now the system does not think the driver is present and posts an error message. Can I get the OS to recognize the new location? I cannot roll back the driver; then I would have two drivers registered for the same device. I cannot Uninstall the "Other device" because the device is present and looking for a software driver. Suggestions?

Resolved problem, remove from list. Resolved problem by uninstalling both drivers via "device manager." Then, rebooting. On reboot, OS found the correct driver and re-installed it. One learns quickly to be very aware of installing new drivers. Advice: create a restore point on any driver install.
