Page file and CPU usage going to max level

When I start the laptop it's still fine but once i start using it then the CPU and PF usage reaches the maximum level. PF reaches up to 1.++ GB and the CPU reaches 98% at times. i ran a HijackThis and here's the log.

One more thing, when I want to turn off the laptop the screen just go blank. the mouse can still be moved but the laptop wont off, only the screen go blank.
